ICS Training

ICS Training

Marble Falls Fire Rescue will be hosting G-300: Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents & G-400: Advanced ICS for Complex Incidents classes June 1-5, 2026. If you are a supervisor within your department and/or hold a position in your jurisdictions Emergency Operations Center (EOC), it is highly recommended that you attend the above classes. These courses equip individuals with the skills and knowledge to effectively manage incidents of varying complexity, from single-agency responses to large-scale, multi-agency events. By providing a standardized framework, ICS promotes effective communication and coordination among different agencies and personnel during emergencies.

The following online classes are pre-requisites before you may register for G-300 and G-400:

IS-100.C           Introduction to the Incident Command System

IS-200.C           Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response

IS-700.B           An Introduction to the National Incident Management System

IS-800.D           National Response Framework, An Introduction

For IS-100.C, IS-200.C, IS-700.B and IS-800.D, please use the following link: https://training.fema.gov/is/

If you don’t already have a FEMA SID, you will need to register for one before you start any of your classes. This can be done at https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid

You will need to register for an account with TDEM training at https://tdem.geniussis.com/PublicWelcome.aspx?AffiliateID=QQ0AU6 after you have your FEMA SID.

Once your account is active, you will need to download your IS-100.C, IS-200.C, IS-700.B and IS-800.D certificates under the “Request Credit” tab on the left side of the page so that you will have the prerequisites needed to register for the G-300: Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents & G-400: Advanced ICS for Complex Incidents classes.
