Active Attack Integrated Response Course (AAIR) Train the Trainer

July 27th through July 31st 2026

Sponsored by Sunrise Beach Police Department via ALERRT40-hour course designed to improve integration between law enforcement, fire, tele-communicator and emergency medical services (EMS) in active attack/shooter events. Provides law enforcement officers with key medical skills based on tactical emergency casualty care guidelines, which can be used at the point of injury to increase survivability of victims. The course also provides a model framework for law enforcement, fire, and EMS to integrate responses during an active attack/shooter event through the rescue task force concept. This course has been designed to improve the safety and survivability of victims of active attack/shooter events and increase the effectiveness, coordination, and resource integration between law enforcement, fire, tele-communications and EMS when responding to these events. G-300 - Intermediate Incident Command Systems for Expanding Incidents

G-400 - Advanced Incident Command Systems for Complex Incident

Marble Falls Fire Rescue will be hosting G-300: Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents & G-400: Advanced ICS for Complex Incidents classes September 21-25 & December 14-18. 

If you are a supervisor within your department and/or hold a position in your jurisdictions Emergency Operations Center (EOC), it is highly recommended that you attend the above classes. These courses equip individuals with the skills and knowledge to effectively manage incidents of varying complexity, from single-agency responses to large-scale, multi-agency events. By providing a standardized framework, ICS promotes effective communication and coordination among different agencies and personnel during emergencies. 

The following online classes are pre-requisites before you may register for G-300 and G-400:

• IS-100.C           Introduction to the Incident Command System
• IS-200.C          Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response
• IS-700.B          An Introduction to the National Incident Management System
• IS-800.D         National Response Framework, An Introduction

If you don’t already have a FEMA SID, you will need to register for one before you start any of these classes. This can be done at https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid

You will need to register for an account with TDEM training at https://tdem.geniussis.com/PublicWelcome.aspx?AffiliateID=QQ0AU6 after you have your FEMA SID.

Once your account is active, you will need to download your IS-100.C, IS-200.C, IS-700.B and IS-800.D certificates under the “Request Credit” tab on the left side of the page so that you will have the prerequisites needed to register for the G-300: Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents & G-400: Advanced ICS for Complex Incidents classes.

Textbooks for G-300 & G-400 are electronic so you will need a laptop or tablet along with a notepad and pen for the classes.
